There is a Classic beauty that comes from the marriage of a wooden fence with a masonry wall. At the Fence Factory we take the time to match your fence with the design elements of your masonry work. The result is a product with timeless elegance and style.
When installing a wooden fence the first choice to be made is which of two anchoring system should be used on your masonry project. The first is the “Post Insertion” system. As the name indicates when using this System the base of the post itself is inserted and anchored into the masonry. It is used when the wall has not been constructed yet. We will supply your masons with information of your fence to allow them to leave holes in the wall at the proper distance.
The second anchoring system used is the “Support Insertion” system. It is used when the masonry wall has already ben constructed and there were no holes left by mason or the holes were to small for the “Post Insertion” method. Using rotary drill we make holes in the wall where needed . A galvanized steel post insert(which has already been inserted in the wood post) is placed in the hole and anchored.
To insure superior strength for our wooden posts with galvanized steel inserts in them , the Fence factory uses a horizontal drilling machine. This machine makes a bore hole that is dead center of the post and parallel along the length of the post. Our Galvanized steel insert is 2″ diameter(50% larger than our competitors).
